Each student logs into the system using a unique user name and password. Once logged in, the student may start from the beginning of the course, or select the endorsement that they wish to obtain. If the student logs out of the system before completing the course, the system will bookmark where the student left off, so the course can be completed the next time the student logs in. The program also consists of 7 CDL tests. These multiple choice tests are uniquely designed to resemble the actual CDL test, as closely as possible. Students scores are displayed at the end of each test. If the student does not pass the test the first time, they can go back and retake it at any time.

The Administrator section of the course is an extremely useful function that allows administrators (teachers) to log into the system and track each student’s progress in each course. Administrators can create printable reports and/or export the information to an outside source for creating reports.
