This breakaway kit is for use on 1, 2, 3 and 4 axle trailers that are equipped with electric brakes. This system meets or exceeds DOT specifications regarding trailer breakaway & holding requirements. If a breakaway occurs, the breakaway system will automatically apply consistent braking power to the trailer brakes. Quick and easy to installation. The system comes with a weather, corrosion resistant, heavy-duty polymer case that protects the battery and the charger.

This Kit includes:
• 1 Polymer Battery Case
• Clamp-on bracket
• 1 Rechargeable 12V Sealed 4 Amp Battery
• 1 Nylon Breakaway Switch
• The charger is not included.
