This is a Demco 8" Adjustable Hydraulic Brake Actuator with a 20,000lb Capacity.

These Demco hydraulic trailer brake actuators are specifically designed to perform, even in the harshest of braking environments. The master cylinder cap has an automotive style diaphragm for a completely enclosed brake system, which prevents brake fluid contamination. The master cylinder pushrod is covered by a rubber boot for additional dirt & moisture protection. This actuator uses UHMW nylon wear pads, which eliminate the potential for roller freeze-up.

Our composite master cylinder is maintenance free, providing a long life for both disc and drum braking systems. All components are available for easy repair.

This actuator has 2,000lb. maximum tongue load or 10% of G.V.W.R of coupler, vehicle, ball or trailer. DA20 actuators utilize acetal copolymer linings. Rollers are eliminated. All DA20 models with coupler adjusting channels have 3" inside dimensions. Emergency lever guide and ring on DA20.
